When The Restaurant School at Walnut Hill
College called and told us they were going to have an informative event
highlighting food service for the various ethnic holidays, The Theme Factory
of Philadelphia jumped at the chance to set the bar for decor. The idea
was to create a few small vignettes that displayed some of the choices
one might have for decorating a particular holiday.
For Chinese New Years we presented two
magnificent Foo Dogs on bases, red lanterns, and oriental banners. For
our New Years we took a classic art deco approach and used our Paper Moon
Bandstand with Art Deco White Palm Trees. With the proper lighting this
set up looks absolutely fantastic and is easy to set up in almost any
environment. Lastly, the christmas area was a little winter wonderland.
With a 6 ft Toy Soldier guarding the entrance into Santa's Workshop, out
little stylized reindeer could frolic in peace.
The event was a smashing success and everyone
thought the props were very "tasteful". All kidding aside, these
props are easy to fit in any home or office and require very little installation.
Give us a call and we can show you how to add a few simple decorations
to make all of your events seem like a big deal.
