Thank you to all of the area high schools for coming out to Prom Week and making it a great success. We enjoyed showcasing our displays and sharing information with you.
We have learned that the most popular theme of the year is Mardi Gras.
Through personal research, we have discovered that when it comes to Mardi Gras, you don't have to limit yourself to Green, Purple, and Gold. You can make your event so much better by combining different aspects of New Orleans into your Mardi Gras theme. For instance, the elegance of the Garden District, with it's stone gates, statuary and unique structures can ensure a classy dining affair. Swampy Bayou forests can be created to make an inviting dance floor atmosphere with the right props and lighting. Perhaps, even a low fog machine could add some romance to the air.
The difference you will see with our props, rather than the cardboard throw-aways commonly purchased for proms, is that they are built to last. They are constructed of sturdy materials so they can be rented out time and time again.
To get the most impact for your prom I would recommend utilizing some of our props to create a spectacular entrance, some decor objects for your stage area, and other focal points throughout the room for your theme.
